Il sistema ferroviario lombardo verso la bigliettazione completamente elettronica
Trenord, la società che gestisce il sistema ferroviario lombardo, ha dato il via a un importante percorso evolutivo del sistema di vendita dei biglietti, in linea con il Progetto di Bigliettazione Elettronica promosso dalla Regione Lombardia. L’obiettivo è quello di abbandonare definitivamente la carta, in favore di titoli di viaggio elettronici, a nuove regole di validità dei biglietti, a self-service per gli acquisti rinnovati e a importanti novità nella bigliettazione digitale.
Il primo passo di questo percorso è l’addio agli abbonamenti cartacei, sostituiti dalla tessera IO VIAGGIO. Questa tessera sarà l’unica modalità di acquisto per i titoli di viaggio settimanali, mensili e annuali a partire dal mese di marzo. In preparazione a questo passaggio, Trenord ha avviato una campagna di comunicazione per invitare all’acquisto della tessera, che ha già portato alla vendita di oltre 50mila tessere nei primi venti giorni di marzo.
Gli abbonamenti su tessera elettronica richiederanno la convalida tramite nuove convalidatrici contactless, che saranno installate progressivamente in tutte le stazioni della rete. Inoltre, a partire dalla metà di maggio, i biglietti acquistati presso biglietterie Trenord, punti vendita autorizzati e self-service saranno progressivamente sostituiti da biglietti ricaricabili con il “chip on paper”, che si potranno utilizzare solo nella data indicata al momento dell’acquisto e saranno unidirezionali.
Self-service completamente rinnovate
Il sistema di self-service per l’acquisto dei biglietti subirà una radicale trasformazione nei prossimi mesi. La nuova interfaccia sarà semplice e intuitiva, suggerirà al cliente l’opzione di viaggio più comoda ed economica, e consentirà l’acquisto e la ricarica dei biglietti “chip on paper” e degli abbonamenti. Inoltre, sarà possibile effettuare pagamenti con digital wallet abilitati NFC e app per pagamenti digitali.
In conclusione, grazie a queste innovazioni, i viaggiatori avranno a disposizione un sistema di acquisto più smart, digitale, sostenibile e senza carta, che risponde alle esigenze della società e dei clienti.
