Gestione della flotta: TomTom lancia Work Active
Localizzare e tracciare gli spostamenti dei veicoli, anche quando il navigatore è spento? Da oggi è possibile, con i nuovi dispositivi di TomTom Work Active e Webfleet, che sfrutta appieno la tecnologia connected navigation.
Una connessione permanente tra i navigatori satellitari, con un applicativo su internet che permette una migliore gestione degli interventi di assistenza e delle operazioni di consegna/ritiro sul territorio. E’ quanto offre Work Active, l’ultimo ritrovato della multinazionale olandese.
Ecco come funziona. Ogni veicolo naviga e comunica con l’ausilio di TomTom Go. Il dispositivo TomTom Go è connesso alla scatola nera TomTom Link 300, che è installata nel veicolo. Quest’ultima consente di inviare messaggi e informazioni sulla posizione fra il veicolo/autista e il sistema online TomTom Webfleet, tramite la rete mobile Gprs. In questo modo, la tracciabilità del veicolo è garantita anche quando il dispositivo è spento: la scatola nera è installata in ogni veicolo ed è sempre accesa.
Con Webfleet è possibile gestire in tempo reale i veicoli collegati. Si tratta di un’applicazione on-line di gestione degli ordini e della flotta, disponibile 24 ore al giorno, da qualsiasi Pc dotato di connessione a Internet. Webfleet consente un’immediata localizzazione dei veicoli sulle mappe digitali tramite computer, con una panoramica immediata sullo stato del lavoro di tutto il personale in viaggio.
Sullo schermo appare la posizione esatta e i movimenti recenti dei veicoli. La mappa interattiva fornisce all’utente tutto ciò di cui ha bisogno: stato dei veicoli, dettagli sul guidatore, indirizzo della destinazione e tempo di arrivo stimato. La funzione di tracciatura veicolo (con una cronologia fino a 90 giorni) mostra la velocità effettiva misurata su strada e visualizza graficamente le fermate effettuate. È disponibile una vasta gamma di rapporti, incluse informazioni dettagliate sui viaggi, sulle fermate e sul profilo relativo alla velocità.
Si può anche comunicare direttamente con gli autisti in servizio, inviando loro messaggi di testo con un semplice clic del mouse (ed eliminando l‘esigenza di effettuare diverse chiamate per scoprire chi è disponibile).
Webfleet offre inoltre la possibilità di (ri)assegnare facilmente i compiti alla persona nella posizione migliore per accettare un nuovo lavoro. L’applicazione consente infatti di infatti inviare nuovi ordini, con informazioni sugli indirizzi fornite direttamente al guidatore nella posizione migliore per accettare il lavoro. Webfleet consente inoltre di ottenere tipi diversi di rapporti, come ad esempio i rapporti di messaggi, di viaggio e di stato, in formato Csv o Pdf.
