Driving Green: un’alleanza per la sostenibilità del trasporto del plasma
Scania, Chiggiato, Kedrion Biopharma e IFAC hanno annunciato la loro partnership per creare una soluzione di trasporto sostenibile del plasma umano raccolto da Kedrion Biopharma.
L’evento “Driving Green. Improving Lives” ha presentato questa alleanza nella sede della Chiggiato S.p.A. I mezzi di trasporto ibridi Scania saranno utilizzati per garantire la sicurezza e l’efficienza del trasporto del plasma donato. Il progetto nasce per migliorare le condizioni di vita dei pazienti affetti da malattie rare e gravi e per promuovere la sostenibilità in termini ambientali, sociali ed economici.
La missione di “trasportare la vita” con sostenibilità e rispetto per l’ambiente
La partnership tra Scania, Chiggiato, Kedrion Biopharma e IFAC è animata dal senso di responsabilità etica e civile che guida queste aziende a cercare costantemente soluzioni sostenibili.
Il progetto “Driving Green” nasce come una sorta di staffetta per la vita, dalla raccolta del plasma donato all’allestimento di un mezzo speciale per il trasporto del plasma.
L’azienda italiana Kedrion Biopharma è operatore globale nella raccolta e trasformazione del plasma umano, mentre Chiggiato S.p.A. è una flotta specializzata nel trasporto di plasma e farmaci. IFAC, invece, è il produttore europeo di furgoni e kit isotermici. Tutte queste aziende condividono una profonda responsabilità etica e civile che si concretizza nella promozione di soluzioni sostenibili, sia in termini ambientali che sociali ed economici.
Soluzioni sostenibili per la decarbonizzazione del trasporto
Scania si è posta obiettivi di decarbonizzazione di breve e medio termine, validati dalla Science Based Targets Initiative come in linea con le traiettorie definite dalla COP21. L’azienda si è impegnata a ridurre del 50% le proprie emissioni dirette di CO2 entro il 2025 rispetto al 2015 e del 20% quelle prodotte dai veicoli commercializzati, durante il loro utilizzo, nello stesso periodo.
Per raggiungere questi ambiziosi obiettivi di riduzione delle emissioni, l’azienda sfrutta tutte le tecnologie a disposizione, dalle soluzioni elettrificate, come l’ibrido e l’elettrico, ai mezzi alimentati a biocarburanti. L’ambizione di Chiggiato è di ampliare il parco elettrificato con autocarri ibridi Scania in futuro.
