Controlli autotrasporto: protocollo d’intesa in Friuli
E’ stato firmato a Trieste un protocollo d’intesa tra Prefetture, forze dell’Ordine e uffici del ministero del Lavoro e dei Trasporti per intensificare i controlli in una delle regioni più a rischio a causa del passaggio dei tir provenienti dall’Est Europa. Il protocollo definisce le attività che saranno frutto del lavoro incrociato delle varie forze dell’Ordine, degli uffici ministeriali e delle Dogane.“Dopo il protocollo firmato dai ministri Matteoli e Maroni nel mese di luglio dell’anno scorso, che ha consentito di aumentare da 200 a oltre 300 mila i controlli sull’abusivismo, arriviamo a questoulteriore salto di qualità – spiega il sottosegretario ai Trasporti Bartolomeo Giachino-, che ci sarà molto utile per garantire maggiore sicurezza e maggiore regolarità al mercato italiano dei trasporti difendendo le nostre aziende regolari dalla concorrenza sleale di questi anni”.
Il protocollo segue di poche settimane il grido di allarme delle associazioni di categoria dell’autotrasporto, che hanno denunciato un’altissima mortalità delle imprese del settore in questa regione.
A supporto dei controlli anche un nuovo veicolo, un Daily Iveco attrezzato in particolare per i controlli amministrativi, con apparecchiature per la verifica dell’autenticità di qualunque tipo di documento. Il veicolo sarà in futuro utilizzato anche nei porti e negli interporti insieme con gli ormai noti Centri Mobili di Revisione, utilizzati in particolare per le verifiche tecniche.
