Maltempo in Europa: ecco gli aeroporti a rischio
Quello del 2010 sarà un Natale da dimenticare per chi doveva spostarsi in aereo. La straordinaria ondata di maltempo abbattutasi su gran parte dell’Europa ha messo a dura prova l’intero sistema dei voli e degli aeroporti. L’ultimo allerta arriva da New York, dove in seguito alla gigantesca tempesta di neve sono stati chiusi tutti gli scali della città. Nella giornata di ieri, l’aeroporto internazionale di Mosca e’ stato chiuso dopo pesanti nevicate che hanno provocato un black-out elettrico nei dintorni della capitale russa. Tutti i voli in partenza e in arrivo sono stati cancellati alle ore 8 locali in seguito al blocco di due centrali elettriche. Il traffico è stato sospeso a tempo indeterminato. Almeno 300 passeggeri hanno invece passato la notte di vigilia nell’aeroporto parigino di Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, dove il 24 dicembre, a causa delle abbondanti nevicate, sono stati annullati almeno 400 voli. Al terminal 2F una sala e’ stata adibita a dormitorio. I ‘naufraghi’ del trasporto aereo sono stati però rifocillati con un vero cenone di Natale e i bambini hanno persino ricevuto dei doni. E’ stata anche organizzata una messa. I piu’ fortunati sono stati invece dirottati negli alberghi vicini. Regolare, al momento, la situazione negli scali italiani. Secondo l’Enac, i soli voli ritardati o cancellati sono quelli diretti verso gli aeroporti europei colpiti dal maltempo. In previsione dell’aumento di traffico atteso nel periodo delle festività invernali, l’ente invita comunque i passeggeri a visitare la sezione ‘Diritti dei passeggeri’ del proprio sito Internet, in cui potranno trovare informazioni utili in caso di disservizi, sul trasporto aereo, sulla sicurezza del settore, sugli articoli che possono essere inseriti nel bagaglio, ed altro ancora. L’Enac ricorda, inoltre, che gli utenti possono contattare anche il Numero Verde 800 898 121, un numero gratuito attivo dal lunedì al venerdì dalle 8.00 alle 20.00, che fornisce un supporto informativo ai viaggiatori pur non potendo intervenire per la risoluzione immediata del singolo disservizio.
