Francia e India: accordi su Rafale e cooperazione spaziale
In occasione della visita in India del presidente francese, François Hollande, le autorità francesi e indiane hanno firmato un accordo intergovernativo che prevede la vendita di 36 Rafale. Non si tratta ancora di un contratto definitivo ma di un accordo quadro destinato a facilitare le trattative commerciali e finanziarie vere e proprie che dovrebbero però concludersi nei prossimi giorni. Soddisfazione da parte di Dassault Aviation che realizza il caccia multiruolo già in servizio con la Marina e l’Aeronautica francese e con l’armeè de l’Air dell’Egitto.
Inoltre India e Francia hanno firmato tre altri accordi nel campo della coperazione spaziale: il primo riguarda la fabbricazione di un nuovo satellite franco-indiano per l’osservazione della Terra il cui carico utile sarà sviluppato dall’azienda francese Thales; il secondo prevede il lancio nel 2018 di una missione congiunta, battezzata “OcenaSat3-argos” che imbarcherà a bordo del satellite Argos 4 una strumentazione di sorveglianza dell’ambiente di ultima generazione messa a punto da industrie francesi; il terzo infine prevede la creazione di un gruppo di studio che esaminerà la possibile partecipazione francese alle prossime missioni interplanetarie condotte dall’India, in particolare verso Marte e Venere.
